Employee Representation

On-site assistance to, and representation of, the non-represented, confidential, managerial, and other classifications of employees in their employment relations with the County of Los Angeles.

The services we provide to HELP members include:

• Phone, email and on-site consultation for Association members on work-related matters.
• On-site assistance to, and representation of, employees in their employment relations with the County of Los Angeles.
• Specific assistance to HELP members in areas involving County policy, promotions, minor discipline and other administrative proceedings.
• On-site, fee-based representation of individual members with grievances and disciplinary appeals, up to and including arbitration and Civil Service proceedings.
• A monthly newsletter with information about labor and employment matters applicable to all Public-Sector Employees.
